Some of you may have noticed (though I suspect most of you didn't) that a few of the background characters are wearing uniforms like Sommia and Janaan's, the only difference being the belt. This is because the school system organizes students between the ages of about eleven and fourteen into six streams, which are conveniently colour-coded. The number of stripes on the belt indicates the student's current year (one stripe for first year, two for second, etc.) I may upload some notes one the school system during chapter break.
Also, (and this is a bit irrelevant) it's bizarre how blogger names these pages. These past two updates, the URL has been made up of text from the previous page. I really wish there was some way of controlling what the URL is set as.
